"Welp It's A Beautiful Day"
I had such a fun weekend, I was in Raleigh, Southport, Sunset Harbor, Oak Island, & Murrell's Inlet all in one weekend. I flew into Raleigh to meet my sister Jamie who was my date for a wedding, of which I will be blogging about later. Wr drove down to the Carolina coast with her son Jack in tow. Jack is an absolute hoot to Ride with. He is all of 3 years old and has the best one liners ever!!! So over the weekend we had a chance to hang out on the beach. Here are some fun shots we caught. Side story about the blog title: On our way to grab some oh soo good tacos from this joint in raleigh on sunday. It was about sunset & Jamie and I have had a lull in conversation for a few minutes just enjoying the evening drive with the windows down. Suddenly Jack pipes up and says with a half sigh and arms out. " WELLLP IT'S A BEAUUUUTIFUL DAAAAYYY" Jamie and I both just laughed and said "Yep it sure is"... GREAT WEEKEND
WALTER & PATRICIA ARE MARRIED IN RALEIGH
Meet My cousin Patricia and My New Cousin Walter, whom I now just like to call "Cousin". :) Walter and Trish got married in Raleigh, NC in a beautiful ceremony. Patricia is one of those people you just want to see happy, because she is always making everyone else happy with the smile on her face and her amazing ability to make you feel like she thinks and prays about you everyday. Patricia is a person that makes you feel better about yourself just for knowing her. I am so happy that she has found Walter. They are so in love, and ridiculously adorable together.

The Williams Riley Band
About 2 years ago Benton and I took a road trip to Greenville, SC to meet some people that were interested in Signing Benton to their record label. Well that trip not only changed our lives, but we were blessed with some of the most amazing people who we now consider family. Benton is signed to a label called Golden Music based out of Greenville, SC. I am a native of SC and it will always be home to me, so the fact that Benton's label is based there is completely fitting and somewhat ironic. There are two artists on the label, Benton and a band called The Williams Riley Band. Over the past two years everybody related to Golden music has become very close. The music business can be crazy at times, actually it's crazy ALL the time. But, it's amazing to see how hard work and passion pays off. Even though I am not a musician, I get so emotional when I see my husband & friends achieve those goals they have worked so hard for. They have sacrificed so much to do what they do and their families the same. It's always an awesome thing to see the hard work develop into something. So, here are some good friends of mine, The Williams Riley Band and their new music video for their first radio single "I'm Still Me". You can view their video on CMT.COM and it will be running on CMT pure country TV starting tomorrow. They are also in the middle of a radio tour so call your local stations and request "I'm Still Me".
